James has served on the FFO board of directors since FFO’s inception. He is a retired pilot and father of three grown children and a grandfather of three, including two from the Democratic Republic of Congo. James has served as a Freemason since 1980 and previously served on the Ligonier Valley School Board (2008-2012). James is an avid traveler and has spent time in the DRC (while traveling to bring his grandchildren home), backpacked in Nepal, climbed Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, as well as traveled extensively through Europe. James enjoys riding his BMW motorcycle around the continental United States.
